For most, Homemaking becomes a requisite once we start our first home and often when we have kids.
Torn between using that education we worked our butts off for and staying home with our precious babies, the babies tend to win! And even if we chose to work away from home, we still need to care for the home and family.
As a beginner, there are a few skills you will need to acquire but it is safe to say that cooking should be your priority. Followed by laundry. The least you will need to do is to ensure you have clean clothes and healthy meals.
This will also eventually help to gain budgeting and meal planning skills.
Being a beginner is not a bad thing. It is easier to learn new skills than it is to change old bad habits we have fallen into rhythm with.
