I have a client, turned friend who uses sticky notes as reminders and stuck them in strategic locations. It worked for her, so that was good. Writing things down is a definite yes.
Two months later, I paid her a social visit and the sticky notes had multiplied. Seems like her housekeeper sticks reminder notes everywhere.

My tip is to have a sticky notebook. A notebook for your sticky notes. It is not stuck everywhere but it is all in one place. You can date it and use it as reference as well.
And if you are into journaling or scrapbooking, you can turn it into a creative outlet as well.
It’s working well for my friend and her housekeeper. She doodles some really cute stuff while looking through her notes and thinking.
